Alterations and Revisions: Farewell by Beky NeRichnead As Q disappeared, Xalen let out her breath. One by one, all of the Elders disappeared, leaving only Hotaru and Setsuna. Saeblin and Faolin exchanged glances, then disappeared into the future. Xalen chuckled. "It seems the time has finally arrived." Hotaru fidgeted nervously. "Are you sure I can do it?" "Would I have chosen you if I wasn't sure?" "Well, no, but..." Setsuna turned to her young Princess. "Hotaru, you will be a fine ruler." Hotaru paled. "I'm sorry... how do I save J.." She was interrupted by Faolin's arrival. "That won't be a problem. It has been done. Q did more good than he knows." Saeblin appeared. In her hand was a small green stone. "I've included some helpful notes about the world as it now exists in here. If you are ever puzzled (which you will be) it will probably have information you need. Xalen, it is time for us to be going." Xalen nodded. "Its strange. I've waited for this moment so long, yet at the same time I'm hesitant." She paused. "Hotaru, here." She drew out a fancy crown from her dimensional pocket and handed it to her. Hotaru accepted it. "Thank you." Xalen frowned. "Queen Hotaru, remember, even in death you will have it. You must find an heir with a strength of personal character, a big heart, and good intent." Hotaru nodded. Saeblin turned to her. "Good luck, Queen Hotaru. If Merce ever chances to re-enter this universe, her 'royalty' shall be at your convenience." Faolin smiled. "Yes, Hotaru, all luck to you. May your reign be prosperous." Xalen wiped a tear away from her eye. "We're headed home now." Hotaru blinked. "Where are your planets now?" Xalen chuckled. "Our planets were called traveling planets for good reason - they tend to change universe. We'll go back in time to just before they left and take our true place. Good journeys." With that, the three joined hands and disappeared. Setsuna smiled. "Shall we?" Hotaru nodded, and they entered this strange world of theirs. * Haethe O'Connor blinked, trying to shake the fog out of her mind. She steadied herself on a nearby chair. Where was she? She heard a shaky voice beside her. "Haethe? What happened?" "I'm not sure, Molly." That was said by a male voice. When she recovered she looked around. In a nicely appointed living room, she and a number people from school stood looking at each other. Mrs. Steele spoke. "Welcome back. Jeremy and I have been waiting a few hours for you to arrive. How are you feeling?" Rob replied, "Better now, I think." Haethe blinked. How did he get here? For a split second she saw the image of a pigtail added to his conservative hair cut. Then everything snapped into focus. She was Hotaru d'Saturn. She was Hotaru Tomoe, Queen of Solaran. She was Haethe O'Connor, a student. Mrs. Steele smiled at her. "And how are you feeling, Haethe?" Haethe rolled her shoulders. "I'm okay, I think. What happened?" Mr. Griek chuckled. "Time was changed retroactively. Any discomfort is entirely normal." Haethe nodded, then quickly looked around at her friends. Molly smiled at her. "I think it worked." Natalie nodded. "I'd have to agree." Min laughed. "So, how many more times are we going to do this?" They all laughed. Mrs. Steele put in, "The triple memories should fade in a few hours, allowing you all to relax." * A minor demon from the overflow in Tokyo approached the house, but was quickly sliced up by the surrounding guards. Haethe and her court were in good hands. * From his position in the Forest of Possibilities, Sailor Pluto surveyed Tokyo, continuing his vigilant watch of the Moon Princess and search for the Outer Senshi. * Thousands of years in the past, a group of planets known as the Traveler Unity shifted universes again. They barely noticed as they celebrated the return of Faolin, General Xalen, and Queen Saeblin.
